This photograph shows a team of men from Hobbs and Smith Builders, who were based in Bradiford on land used in the 1960s to build the houses in what is now Meadow Road. Pictured on the top girder are Fred Smith and Alfie Hobbs. The man in the flat cap is the father of Fred Smith, also Fred we think and known to Jaci Hibbert as Grampy.
