The 1982 Map of Pilton for First Festival

In 1982 a limited edition (of 200) of an illustrated map of Pilton was prepared by J Kemp for the first Pilton Festival. This is a scanned copy of No 2 given to The Pilton Story by Albert Linacre. It shows and/or describes briefly some of the main features of the village – the Church, the Priory, Bull House, the Feoffees, Bradiford, the Leper Hospital of Blessed Margaret, Rolle Quay and Pottington, Roborough Hill, Raleigh Court, the Water Mills on the Yeo and Bradiford Water and the North Devon District Hospital. It gives a very ‘potted’ history.
