Ian Thomas, Deputy Head of Pilton Bluecoat School from 1978 to 1997, visited The Pilton Story with his wife Sue to talk about the first Pilton Festival in 1982, how it came about, how he was involved and the important role of Rev Anthony Geering, Vicar of Pilton Church, who started the whole thing off. This is an extract from that interview – and a first attempt at such a recording. The Pilton Story team has a way to go yet with the skills needed but this nevertheless contains some interesting insights!
