This photograph shows Leonard Ward, uncle of Michael Thorne, leaning on a petrol pump outside Pilton Bridge Garage, probably in the 1950s. This shows different petrol pumps and a different brand of fuel from the other picture of Pilton Bridge Garage in the 1960s, but is identified on the basis of the cigarette vending machine on the right hand side.
