Phyllis Allen feeding the ducks in Pilton Park on the banks of the River Yeo

At the age of 82, Phyllis Allen of 123 Pilton Street found herself with a court order against her to stop feeding the ducks from the River Yeo. It was judged that they were creating a traffic hazard crossing the road from the river to her house in Pilton Bridge.
