In 1974, Pilton WI which was formed in 1971, staged its first pantomime ‘Cinderella’ at Pilton Church Hall on Saturday 2nd February. The cast was as follows:
Cinderella: Mrs A Britland, Prince: Mrs L Greenslade, Dandini: Mrs J Richards, Buttons: Mrs P West, Baron: Mrs E Skeates, Baroness: Mrs H Street, Ugly Sisters: Mrs P Jackman and Mrs S Rogers, Sentries: Mrs P Holroyd and Mrs J Elliott, Fairy Godmother: Mrs J Crayford, Wizard: Mrs B Aston, Herald: Mrs B Newcombe, Chorus: WI Choir, Dancers: M Street, N Lakeman, H Ward and J Crocombe.
The show was produced by Mrs J Davies. Costumes were by Mrs P Colwill, Mrs S Rudall and helpers.
