In February 2023, Pilton Theatre Productions successful presented ‘Sleeping Beauty’, written and directed by Lee Smith in Pilton Church Hall, during the Half Term Holiday week. The production was set in two brilliant scenes, The Palace (Human Kingdom), and The Enchanted Forest (Fairy Kingdom) painted by Howard Porter and Sue Boyd.

The villain, one Titus Wormcrawl, was condemned to the wilderness in the Enchanted Forest, only to come back to power 10 years later.  However, he finally got his ‘comeuppance’ – thanks to a snake called Caroline!

Despite a curse imposed by Fairy Queen Magenta, they pretty much all lived happily ever after, except the villain, of course.

Below is a link to the panto programme with all you need to know about the brilliant cast and crew who put it all together.
