The Bell in Pilton Street in April 1987

This Bell was carried up Pilton Street in April 1987 as part of an Easter Festival organised in Pilton. It is thought to remember the bringing of new bells from Pilton Quay to St Mary’s Church in 1854 for hanging. The Festival was organised by the Horse and Bamboo Theatre Company. More information is sought.
