Pilton Festival had an early website www.piltonfestival.co.uk back in around 2000, thanks to the work of the late Ken Wilson.  In 2012, it was developed further when Martin Haddrill went on a website design course at the North Devon College.  The expanded website gave details of the background, story and activities of Green Man Day on the third Saturday of July.  The opportunity was taken to record many of the fund-raising activities of the Pilton Festival Committee and of other organisations in Pilton, like Odd Couple Productions (who organised ‘Stars in Your Eyes’), the Friends of Pilton Church (who organised summer and winter concerts between 2007 and 2011), and Pilton Panto (who had been producing pantomimes in Pilton Church Hall for many years).

When the Pilton Green Man Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) was formed in December 2016, the objectives and awards processes for donating the money raised by Green Man Days were added to the website.  And when Pilton Panto was brought under the Pilton Green Man CIO, it was rebranded as Pilton Theatre Productions and added to the www.piltonfestival.co.uk website.

With the trend of Pilton Green Man Day being seen regionally as more of a music festival than the village fete which was wanted, and with the need to make the website mobile-friendly, it was decided to create a new website www.piltongreenman.org dedicated to Pilton Green Man Day alone.

Pilton Cinema, which had moved out of the Church Hall never having restarted after the Covid interruption in 2020, was  brought under the Pilton Green Man CIO when it re-opened in the Green Man Bar & Bistro in June 2025.  It already had its own website www.piltoncinema.org dating from 2012.  Early in 2026, The Pilton Story heritage project, which was created in 2012 and was about to be rebuilt before the old platform on which it was based stopped altogether, was brought under the Pilton Green Man CIO.  It also has its own website www.thepiltonstory.org which was re-built in March 2026 using a grant from three North Devon Councillors.

Following excellent volunteer work by Paul Robinson of Varde Creative, in March 2026 the new Pilton Green Man website, www.piltongreenman.org dedicated purely to the annual Green Man Day event, was finally launched.  The old www.piltonfestival.co.uk website has been retained for the moment as an archive of Pilton activities over the last 15 years or so, but will gradually be phased out by moving those historical activities to The Pilton Story website, and by the development of a dedicated Pilton Green Man CIO website.
