The Solar (or Great Chamber) of the 15th Century Bull House on Bull Hill was part of Pilton Priory until the Dissolution in 1536. It has been restored to its Tudor glory over the last 50 years by Mr and Mrs Malcolm Corney. The Corney’s left Bull House to the National Trust in their wills. Unfortunately have found that they are unable to keep Bull House for financial reasons so this Grade 1 listed property has gone on to the market in 2012, as of yet it has not been sold.
