The Rev Nigel Dilkes was licensed as the new Parish Priest of Pilton on 2nd December 2009. Born in Walsall, before training for the ministry, Nigel was a research scientist at the University of Bangor in North Wales and has a doctorate in plant biology. He trained at Ridley Hall in Cambridge and is married to Maggi. Nigel has a dual role within the Barnstaple Team Ministry, covering the parish roles in Pilton and a wider remit concerning families and children.
