Pilton Theatre Productions continued their annual performances at the Barnstaple Fringe Theatrefest in June 2025 with three performances of ‘Aesop’s Fables’. Under the writing and direction of Lee Smith, the cast and crew drew on the comic aspects of some of the several hundred fables attributed to the famous Greek storyteller, Aesop.
Dress rehearsals and a preview performance were held at the new Pilton Community Farm off Abbey Road, Pilton. Having tried it out on Pilton, they then transferred to Castle Green, behind Barnstaple Library, for the weekend of 28th and 29th June for the three, 50 minute long, performances. It did not rain!
